Tech Geeks welcomed 2013 as the Year of the ‘Phablet’, but what about 2012, the year of everything? Technology has taken one of its numerous turns in the previous year. The giants of computing created a ruckus in the World News. Apple sued Samsung for patent infringement, Samsung took its revenge by overtaking Apple in the United States, Motorola had to bid goodbye to its independence, and the list goes on and on…. Not only this but the public saw revolutionary gadgets releasing. Nokia came up with an advanced camera sensor of a whopping 41 Megapixels. HTC unveiled its ‘big beast’, the One X. The Galaxy Beam was out, and Samsung has been cautious in making a projector phone ‘usable’. The similarity among these quantum leaps is that they were released on a single platform, and that happens to be the world’s LARGEST mobile conference, the Mobile World Congress.
So, I understand what’s going on in your minds…’When is the MWC 2013 going to be held?’ Well, I’d say, the conference starts on the 25th of February and end on the 28th. For more ‘corporate’ details, go check out this website – www.mobileworldcongress.com
The expected devices? Nokia says it’s going to unveil a NEW phone. Well, I do think the Finnish mobile giant is going to make up the gap after the Symbian Shutdown. Windows Phone seems to show the emergency exit to escape from the inferno of Apple and Samsung. Turning our attention to Samsung, the Note is getting bigger every year, and this year it’s expected to be wider and ……in a nutshell, more monstrous. Experts say it’s 8-inch this time. (In my opinion, I doubt whether people could at least hold the phone ).
I don’t have much to say until the convention starts and the heat gets hotter! So, time to bid goodbye! See you Barcelona!
