The LG Optimus 2X is a dual-core processor smartphone that was launched in 2010-2011, but has since received many software update, thus showing that the Optimus 2X performance has been able to run even larger and more processor-heavy tasks despite it being launched in 2010-2011.
During the Optimus 2X’s time of launch, it was one of the only phones that feature a dual-core processor. The Optimus 2X is powered by a 1 GHz ARM-Cortex A9 processor with a Geforce Ultra-Low-Power Graphics Processing Unit, which is quite powerful, even by today’s standards. Of course, applications on the Play Store that require the Galaxy S3′s level of performance will not run on the Optimus 2X, but the Optimus 2X is already around 2 years old, so the difference in technology is quite vast.
The Optimus 2X’s exterior design is not particularly striking with a chrome stripe on the back of the phone’s case, but the smooth and fast interface along with its position in the average-to-high performance category, give it many more pros than cons.
Overall, the Optimus 2X is a very good smartphone for general consumers, even now, and due to its age, the Optimus 2X is now very cheap and therefore can be obtained at a bargain.
