The Xperia V from Sony Mobile was announced at the IFA in Berlin in 2012, and was one of the three smartphones announced by Sony during the event. Official release of the Xperia V was probably around January-February this year, and labeled as a ‘Bond’ phone, though it was the Xperia T featured in the latest James Bond movie, Sony will not be selling the Xperia T in Singapore, and thus the Sony Xperia V replaces it.
The Sony Xperia V has a impressive design and build quality. with some of the best ‘curves’ borrowed from the stunning-looking Xperia Arc, and has a resolution of 1280 x 720, which is a High-Definition display. The resulting pixel-per-inch gives a clarity to text and images few can match. This, complemented by the Sony Mobile Bravia Engine, which is effective in making almost every image and video displayed clearer and with better contrast, makes the viewing of HD videos and images on the display a joy. Processing and graphics tasks are handled by a powerful 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor and a Adreno 225.
Overall, the Sony Xperia V is a powerful and premium smartphone that holds its own against other smartphones such as the Galaxy S3 with its distinctive and unique features.
